Evaluation of the film Blood Diamond

I think Blood Diamond is a very strong and touching film. It is important that people make films also about what's really happening in this world. Like it was said in the film, " many girls want the perfect wedding and the perfect weddingring, a diamond ring. They don't know that, when they are buying a diamond ring, they are manybe also "buying" one or many lifes. Another important subject that was brought up in the film was child soliders. 200 000 children in Africa is child soliders, 200 000 children is be ruined inside for the rest of their life because of some sick people, that thinks war and killig solves every problem. I think many people got shocked when they saw this film because I think the diamond -business in Africa has been hidden from the world. TIA = This Is Africa, is a sentence they use a couple of times in the film. I think the sentence mean that; in Africa you are only fighting for your own life and you can't trust anyone else. The only person you can trust is yourself ,but of course, that's just me way of seeing the sentence.

The film is about how cruel , selfish, careless and sick people can be against each other and how much love a person can have to his family.
